Dr. Fisser earned his Pharmacy degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, before completing two years of mandatory military training, achieving the rank of Full Lieutenant. After gaining professional experience as a Production Pharmacist, he returned to university to study medicine, graduating in 1996.

He began his medical career by establishing a busy general practice in South Africa before moving to the United Kingdom for NHS training. During this time, he gained extensive experience in hospital Emergency and Gynaecology departments, as well as General Practice. His commitment to continuous learning led him to complete a Diploma in Family Planning, along with obtaining membership in the Royal College of General Practitioners and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Fisser has worked in Australia since 2005, practicing all aspects of family medicine with special interests in minor surgery, ante-natal care, Mirena and Implanon insertions, care of the elderly, skin cancer and cosmetic enhancement. In addition to running a Thursday afternoon skin clinic, Dr Fisser is part of a team that runs a busy cosmetic enhancement clinic offering patients a variety of services:
